Much Spring!

Much spring in the air – if not the step!
I went for a stomp around at the Eastern end of our area today -Â to the seldom visited Coire a Bhein
Coire a Bhein.
Some old cornices hanging around, although not too gnarly on these N & NE aspects – bigger with more East
Distant shot on approach through to Creagh Meagaidh ‘Post Face’
Pit site today – guarded flat spot for a seat!
Coire Dubh – some larger cornices above Easterly aspects
A few wet snow instabilities today on steep sun affected slopes

Has any ice has survived around the bottom of the post face (e.g. South Post Direct)? Looks like a lot was lost from Sunday to Monday (on the snow front anyway)?

Thanks for the feedback. I am like many others very appreciative and on days like yesterday very envious of the work you are doing. I’ve also met you in Coire Ardair when the weather hasn’t been so nice, so have great respect for your commitment. Thanks again.
