(Above) Considerable spatial variations noted from observations today at around 800m. Recent accumulations on Easterly aspects showing good consolidation, whilst those on adjacent, heavily shaded NW through N to NE aspects remain weakly bonded with reactive fails in layers when tested
(Above) Coire Ardair, Inner Coire. Some sizeable cornices around from recent accumulations.
(Above) Slopes leading to ‘The Window’ – some more shaded than others……
