Beinn a Chaorainn

16th February 2019

(Above) East Ridge of Beinn a Chaorainn today. Thaw over the past few days has taken its toll.

(Above) Residual small cornices still in place around the wide rim of this coire to the East of two of the triple summits.

(Above) Looking across to Coire nan Laogh and the long broad ridge that radiates South off the Creag Meagaidh summit plateau. Snow that’s accumulated in front the the Moy Wall picks out this historic monument and boundary between Badenoch and Lochaber. The wall is on the near skyline.
