The Centre.

1st March 2019

Over the last few days we have visited the East end and the West end so today I thought I’d visit the Centre, roughly, of the SAIS Creag Meagaidh area. Coire Ardair to be precise and a very pleasant visit it was despite the persistent cloud layer.

Sron a’ Ghoire from near Aberarder.

Coire Ardair: Bellevue and Pinnacle Buttresses.

Coire Ardair: Post Face.

Looking up towards The Window.

Coire Ardair, with some of the walkers (and one runner) that were out in the coire.

I was one of the walkers (who would like to have been a winter mountaineer/climber had there been any snow/ice!) but was happy to go for a summer walk without midges. We really appreciate the service that the SAIS provide and have huge respect for the people who go out everyday in all conditions in order to keep us safe.
