Cloudbase down to 600m for most of the morning with almost no visibility above 700m. Wet, too. Very little if any new snow today, even at summit levels.
Saturday’s weather looking only a little less unfriendly!
Plenty of old cornice and avalanche debris below very steep North through East to South East-facing gullies and corrie backwalls.
