Full colour shot of our monochrome world
More or less continuous snow showers
Rare glimpses of the sun behind cloud
Coire Ardair path. The trees did offer some shelter.
Wintry Coire Ardair
A86 was difficult at the beginning and end of the day with jack-knifed lorries here & there.
Very wintry today with the wind moving a lot of snow around.
Some unknown soul broke trail for us up the main path in Coire Ardair, which helped enormously. Access on foot expected to be more difficult after further snow & wind overnight extending throughout most of the day.
The A86 was pretty entertaining at the front and back end of the day with journey times more or less doubling.

With Glencoe closed the A86 can become very interesting in snow!
