Backcountry mountain sport limited because access to the backcountry is limited. Says it all about our neck of the woods, really.

Observations very difficult indeed today due to the depth of the snow and the all enveloping snowy maelstrom. Little improvement expected overnight, though wind and snow showers expected to ease during Sunday.

If you manage to get to our part of the world tomorrow you’ll need to exercise great care out there in the backcountry.
