Missed the boat today. The SNH stalkers went shooting and took the modified Argocat (fitted with snow tracks) to the woods at Creige Tarsuinn: wrong direction for me, unfortunately. Wistful glances as it cruised effortlessly across the deep snow….

That right foot again, this time with a snowshoe. Still knee deep!

That right foot again, this time with a snowshoe. Still knee deep…and only 300m.

Drifted all day. Photo above from the pit site on Na Cnapanan.

Binnean Shios: heavy drifting at just over 600m.

Binnean Shios this afternoon: heavy drifting at just over 650m.

Another storm system will bring a period of very poor stability overnight and on Thursday. Mountain sport options severely limited.

I love the photo of Binnean Shios, not often seen like this.
