Natures sign post: Fresh snow on the silver Birch trees indicating wind direction.
Poor visibility on the summits today. Fresh snow with windslab building in sheltered areas and small amounts of debris seen. Travel conditions quite  tough higher up with 30 cms foot penetration on lee slopes.

A smashing morning of fresh crisp snow very early this morning then mush at lower levels. This Winter the snow just isn’t stopping!
