‘Oui, Oiu’, the iconic ice route on Creag Dubh crag nr Newtonmore. Â Not looking promising. A tad drippy for winter sport today?
‘Oui, Oui’ definitely out of condition then. As an alternative, some shinty perhaps…..?

…..The Dell this afternoon. The shinty boys are hardy but the match was abandoned due to “waterlogged” pitch. I thought so…

The Allt Dubh burn just below the vehicle bridge nr. Aberarder Farmhouse. Roaring with meltwater and surface run-off.

That waterfall was running quite strongly when we were up on Craig Dubh last week.
And I’m glad we were up in Newtonmore last week and not this one!
