The weather was terrible today. Camera came out during very brief breaks. Snow showers and drifting all day. Very deep snow in all sheltered lee areas and breaking trail on skis generally slow through the deep stuff.

The wind, along with the snow showers, is forecast to ease later on Wednesday though drifting will continue overnight and into the morning. Little, if any, improvement expected in stability on most recent lee slopes. Large and developing cornices in place, too. Access will be difficult and skis or snowshoes the most sensible modes of travel, though breaking trail likely to be strenuous.
