On a Promise…
16th March 2017
At least that is according to the Weather Man – hopes for snow today were slow to materialist. The temperature dropped for sure although not much more than a dusting….

(Above) Pinnacle Buttress, Coire Ardair – bounded by Raeburn’s on the left and Easy Gully on the right – looking a bit black!

(Above)Â On the opposite side Coire a Chriochairein’s ‘Boundary Wall’ – seen snaking its way up from the high point on the Coire Ardair path. The little coire at the top ordinarily another favorite pit site, with our Creag Meagaidh forecasters – not holding much snow this season!

(Above) Sron a Ghoire NE Gullies – little more than  a dusting of snow just beginning to show around 800m, as I was packing up to go early afternoon

(Above) …..and even a bit of sunshine to end breaking through on slopes of Cairn Liath, opposite side of the Meagaidh ‘horseshoe’.
So a dusting only today, but – man coming
