Nice calm day

2nd February 2018

Today was a distinct contrast to yesterday. There is still snow at all levels and although this is thawing at lower levels the overall appearance remains white. However, today there was almost no wind, no blowing snow and visibility, at least below the 900m cloud base. And today, unlike 29 January, levitation worked ……….. thanks to a pair of snowshoes!!

Looking towards Coire Ardair and Coire a’ Chriochairein.

Coire Ardair: Bellevue and Pinnacle Buttresses.

Coire Ardair: Post Face.
