(Above) …hair in rollers, blotchy complexion and a faint whiff of ‘morning breath’. Reality check.

 

800m cloudbase all day. Some drifting over summits in the strong SE wind but milder for the most part. Milder again at the week-end so watch out for weakening cornices on most steep lee slopes: there are some monsters out there. Any that collapse will be big enough to trigger the slope. Falling ice from the lower reaches of the crags also a potential issue.
