Misty

11th January 2019

(Above) Rather hoping this sustained mild and often quite misty period is over. Cooler on Saturday with a little hill snow (above about 900m) but rain at lower levels. A more Westerly airflow looking likely next week which should bring a more usual mix of seasonal Scottish winter weather. We hope. In the photo:  upper Coire Ardair, Lochan a Choire and part of the East-facing crags of the Post Face et al. Just a few residual snow patches in the upper reaches of some of the crags, coire rims and gullies. The snow patch demarks the entrance to Easy Gully.
