16th December 2020

Covid-19

The Scottish Avalanche Information Service would recommend that those wishing to enjoy the winter mountains refer to Mountaineering Scotland and Scottish Government advice regarding Covid-19 and outdoor activities.

(Above) A brief attempted sun visit around midday – unfortunately didn’t come to much!

(Above) A dusting of fresh around summits levels from light snow showers over the period. Pretty sparse conditions, with only a few ribbons of old snow extending down to around 800m

(Above) Free water adjacent to pit-site at around 800m in Coire a Chriochairein (Stone Coire) – a waterfall today!
