(Above) Ski tourers today making the most of the good high level cover; here in the Monadhliaths to the NE of the main Creag Meagaidh range

(Above) Conditions below 600m now becoming icy underfoot, with a thin breakable crust in many areas.

(Above) Today’s formal snow pit at 920m on a high Easterly aspect. Below a thin wind crust a
soft moderately bonded layer overlies denser slab deposits.
