The East Ridge of Beinn a’Chaorainn
7th January 2023
After yesterday’s storminess it was pleasant to have relatively light winds today. After a mild night the freezing level was around 1000 metres through the day. Low cloud made for relatively limited photographic opportunities at higher levels today.

The track through the woods at about 550 metres. Compare this to the photo on the blog a couple of days ago, we have lost a fair bit of snow at this level.

Poor Visibility through the day. Looking into the small un-named (on the OS maps) coire to the South of the East Ridge.

This is where the snowpack is going! After a few mild days with some rain the Laggan Dam was full with 4 pipes going.
