Atmospheric

2nd March 2024

An atmospheric day with continual lightly falling snow during the morning, no wind and a very calm atmosphere. A good blanket of snow presenting a wintry scene. The overcast sky certainly helped with the consolidation of the snowpack after yesterdays very cold temperatures- a bit of warmth and humidity has helped with the stabilisation process and the deeper accumulations although soft are much improved.

I was one of the chaps on Raeburns, definitely atmospheric as well as hard work for my unfit old calf muscles!

Good effort, Neil, and well done. It can feel relentless in there and be quite a workout.
