Bright and Sunny on the Tops

1st April 2024

A very pleasant day brighter than expected, plenty of snow and a very wintery scene on North to East aspects as can be seen in the images below. The snow was pretty soft both on the steep and the shallow snowfields but good enough to kick fairly secure steps.

Large unstable looking cornices overhang many Easterly aspects, especially where they fringe plateau areas.

Looking west through to Loch Traig.

Looking North towards Creag Meagaidh across its south western slopes.

Looking at the NE slopes of Bhein a Chaorainn and the classic east ridge.
