Very poor visibility on the Carn Liath plateau

29th January 2025

As I was driving SW towards Aberarder and saw the 2 views below, I thought that I might be lucky and get good views of the central Creag Meagaidh massif. Well, as so often is the case it wasn’t to be! Near whiteout conditions prevailed on the Carn Liath plateau.

And a breakable crust at many levels!
