Bealach a’ Bharnish and NW side of Creag Meagaidh

12th February 2025

It was another dry, cold day with a bitter ESE wind. There is little change in the snowpack which is generally stable, with localised instabilities persisting, mainly on North to East aspects above 1000m.

Today I walked over Bealach a’ Bharnish (between Creag Meagaidh and Beinn a’ Chaorainn) and had a wander around the upper NW slopes of Creag Meagaidh.
