Warm

14th December 2025

It was a mild day with the freezing level well above all summits (+5 at 12:00 on Aonach Mor at 1130m). Initially dry, light rain arrived in the late morning.

The snowpack will be limited to small receding high altitude snow patches, mainly on North to East aspects above 950 metres. These patches will refreeze in the colder conditions. There will be insufficient snow to justify an avalanche hazard category.
