A Cooler and Brighter day

27th February 2026

A showery and blustery morning with snow showers at summit levels eventually lessening leaving a brighter and colder day.  The thaw has thankfully stopped and the freezing level lowering overnight and Saturday will fairly quickly refreeze the existing snow, which will become very firm and icy.! A beautiful day in prospect for Saturday.
