Cloudy with diminishing snowpack

26th February 2026

A surprising rapid loss of snow over the last couple of days. Hopefully with cooler temperatures tomorrow this will halt. Still reasonable cover on NW to E aspects. But a very cloudy day today with fairly persistent rain after 11am. Snowfields are pretty hard going which are soft and knee deep in places. A refreshing day!
