Deep snow

14th March 2026

A bit calmer today and certainly not as stormy as yesterday. Quite a lot of deep snow about certainly above 550m or so. Quite hard going underfoot if trail breaking. Windslab looks quite extensive above 850 or so especially in gullies and on Northerly through East to South-Easterly aspects. Spooky cornices overhang these aspects too!
