Upper Spey towards Corrie Yairack

17th January 2025

Today, I thought I’d chance my luck and hope for some views onto the northern slopes and hills of the Creag Meagaidh massif. It was a mild windy day, with some light rain. Despite the generally fairly low cloud base I did have some views of this ground and they confirmed its almost completely snow-free nature. Snow patches are currently persisting but they are very small and mainly scattered.
