A bright Winters Day

13th January 2026

A rainy and misty start to the day but this soon cleared to provide a beautiful winters day with dramatic light and scenery. Still hard going underfoot in the moist and crusty snow as it slowly refreezes – but hopefully, as it will be remaining below freezing overnight this should improve and allow for easier progress on the surface.
