‘SIT’

Winter is back again on the high tops (….so deck shoes put away again for another spell).
A new SIT (Stability Indicator Technician) in training today – generally as confused with the situation as the Easter Bunnies at the moment, although happy to perform for a chocolate egg – aren’t we all……
Fresh snow on the crags although new build ups are fairly localised.
Min Window – a general dusting above 600m with some drifting above 800m
Post Face and into Inner Coire – new snow on crags
A new ‘SIT’ in training – still unsure of digging role, contracts yet to be signed!
Pit etiquette needs further refining…..
