Blue sky day

It was a cold, clear day with very light winds. Despite sub zero temperatures the sunshine and lack of wind made it feel very warm.
Perfect weather today.
A small re-entrant holding some low level snow.
This mountain hare was too quick for the camera.
A melt freeze crust with a soft layer on top in places.

Wind eroded snow. The steeper faces which are in the shade in this photo face into the wind.
