Ski Touring – Hmmmm!

Ski touring on the ‘Meggie’ ranges – it all looked quite promising from a distance and with the clear blue skies all was inviting to take a punt.
However as the comment in todays report suggests – ski touring at present still not for the faint hearted – in fact more like only for the desperate!
A not so good covering on close inspection combined with the thinly vieled and obligatory ‘Meggie’ tussock grass and underlying heather traps – so apart from the views there was precious little else to be enjoyed or recommended. Need some honey!
