Wading (not drowning?)

23rd December 2013

(Above) Wading. The approach to Sron a Ghoire’s NE ridge. 300m above sea level.
(Above) 500m above sea level……Drowning?

Deep snow in many really quite low places at ‘Meggie even on very easy angled ground. An average of 40-45cms at 300m & much, much deeper where drifted.

Definite feeling that swimming might be the best locomotion technique at higher altitudes.

A difficult mountain day with Tuesday looking little better.
