Coire a Bhein – high above the Upper Spey

(Above) Hungry work after a stint navigating in the white room and strong winds.
(Above) Welcome respite from the wind and spindrift at the top of Coire a Bhein.
(Above) Descending down into the Upper Spey with Spey Dam at the far end of the loch.  Cloud base around 650m with very poor visibility above this height. 

Controversial new Beauly to Denny pylons clearly visible with associated access tracks. The pylons are not yet carrying transmission cables.
