Another good hill day with better snow cover from 700m. Good high level ski-touring potential at the moment from the NE end of the Carn Liath massif as long as you’re happy to carry skis to 650m.

Easy soft slab releases on minor terrain features where windslab lies on NE to SE aspects. Quite a lot of localised scouring too on some North aspects.

Complex freezing level change forecast for mid morning on Monday with summit temps expected to rise to no higher than 0 degrees C.
