Low level mist in glens early this morning at Aberarder.
Snow line around 500m with very good cover above 700m. Blue sky!
(Above) Definitely a White Christmas at Creag Meagaidh! Really nice to be out and about on our patch today. Only downside was the punchy crust that made progress difficult below 700m.
Loch Laggan and the Gaick hills in the far distance. Mist had cleared when we came off the hill.
Festive Aberarder Farmhouse. Game-keeping trophy won by one of the SNH Creag Meagaidh staff.

Yes, a fabulous day, great to be out and about.
Not able to glimpse the Post Face during our perambulations today. Best source for climbing conditions for our and all the other areas will be the blogs of the numerous guiding outfits.
