On the way to work: Creag Dubh nr Newtonmore this morning. Drifting at 650m
Very brief periods of brightness today. This was one (above).
En route to Coire nan Gall: Na Cnapanan at 600m. Drifting and scouring
Fierce winds moving and scouring snow. More or less continuous drifting today.

Very difficult observations today because of very strong winds and poor visibility in spindrift.
The return leg: NE shoulder of Sron a Ghoire peeps above juvenile birch .
The shelter of the trees. Sron a Ghoire looking whiter again after the recent meltdown.
Snow spattered trees just above the main Coire Ardair path. Festive scene.
Reindeer + Santa…. and the picture would be complete!

The Coire Ardair path looks lovely, a wee walk there tomorrow perhaps.
