Exfoliating!

Snow blowing around on Sron a Ghoire. Better visibility between frequent showers.
Camera came out just 4 times today. Very poor visibility in frequent, more or less continuous, snow showers.
Old glide cracks from the recent meltdown.
From the Creag Mhor ridge looking towards W end of Loch Laggan, with the Grey Corries (in cloud) beyond.
Prospect of the Creag Mhor ridge. Plenty of drifting but less accumulating than you might think.
Snowfall consisted more or less exclusively of hail and graupel today: good for exfoliating the skin on your face when walking into the wind…! A lot of snow blowing around but only accumulating in the most sheltered lee areas, mainly East facing.

Exfoliating the skin! nice one that’s one more good reason to give to my partner for hill walking!
