The Sequel – My Left Armpit

11th January 2015

You always knew there was going to be one!

Sorry about that!

(Mr Mt Equip and Mr Gore earning their keep today and managing to do a good job – many thanks!)

Not a very nice day – although pretty much as expected with rising freezing levels and rain to 900m. Was able to confirm the rain to about 700m whereupon a temper tantrum won out from wet snow ‘stilts’ on base of skis!

Skis useful for access today with deep new drifts on the main Coire Ardair track ( certainly better than post holing)however they did come with a health warning in the wet conditions.

I carried to above the birch trees initially hoping to avoid the wetter snow at lower elevations – all to no avail as the rising freezing levels beat me to the top and rain won out. C’est la vie.

Tomorrow’s another day, colder again so here’s hoping!

    Certainly a wet office day.
