Still very little snow even in higher sheltered locations – puddles at 900m!
(Above) This feature on the Cairn Liath ‘plateau’ we refer to in our snow profiles as Sharks Gultch.Â A handy little notch,Â which more often than notÂ is chocked with snow andÂ can give a good representative samplingÂ siteÂ for various aspects above 900m in our area.
OurÂ stability indicator technicianÂ still learning her craft, at this stage more interested in puddles than snow -Â a happy coincidence!
