Coire Chriochairein today

The main footpath in Coire Ardair at 430m. About 1.5cm of snow on the path here, up to 3cm further along at 600m.

Coire Chriochairein. Highest point on the skyline is 1050m. Drifting continued pretty much all day. Snow deposited on plateau areas relocated to adjacent lee slopes by the blustery winds.

The Post Face. Wearing more familiar garb now.

Even more deer around than yesterday. Disturbed this herd sheltering on low ground in Coire Chriochairien who disappeared uphill into the spindrift and beyond.

Looking back to Aberarder and Loch Laggan from Coire Chriochairein. Brief bright periods interspersed between showers characterised the day.
Outlook for the next few days is really quite wintry, and a wee bit blowy, too.
