Early bird…..

It was the early bird who got the best of the day – not me on this occasion.
After a bright sunny start everything clouded over rapidly and light snow showers gave little encouragement to cold fingers and camera buttons! Below a few offerings before the fingers went in and the camera away….

(Above) Creag Meagaidh’s Creag Mhor Ridge. All a bit of a scratch about in the heather before sufficient snow for any ski access today. The last of the sun disappeared before the snowline was gained.

New drifted accumulations on lee SE aspects from recent overnight NW winds – many exposed slopes scoured.
