Coire Choille-rais and onto Meall Coire Choille-rais was my destination for today, not the most frequented venue in the Creag Meagaidh area. Despite today’s cloudy, mild and damp conditions it was a pleasant walk.

There are many damp areas with several species of bog-moss present. This colourful species, Red bog-moss (Sphagnum capillifolium), was looking great today.
