Flat White: second helpings.

17th December 2019

Another day of limited visibility, at least for the majority of the morning. It did clear a little but definitely no bluebird.

(Above) The Post Face of Coire Ardair this morning. Not great but just better visibility than Monday. (Couldn’t really see the Post Face from the Lochan a Choire yesterday).

(Above) Yay! Some sunlight, briefly. The view back up Coire Ardair on the way out this afternoon.

(Above) The path has had a little foot traffic and you can make reasonable progress. Away from this main thoroughfare, ‘the going’ (horse racing ground condition term – Google will explain) is still a bit challenging. Skis (for access) not a bad idea if venturing away from the beaten path; you’ll have to shoulder your skis to about 420m though. General skiing condition (for descents) a wee bit meh….to say the least.
