Wintry conditions on the tops

(Above) No snow cover below 400 metres so it’s a carry for at least 20-30 mins, if ski mountaineering is on your agenda in the Meagaidh area.

(Above) Persistent snow showers above 500 metres throughout the day, with lost of blowing snow from the Westerly winds. Here off the top of Binnein Shaus (746m) on the opposite side of Loch Laggan from Aberarder
(Above) the same winds loading snow onto an Easterly aspect on Sron a Ghoire responsible for x2 small avalanche events today
