Windowlene

13th December 2020

Covid-19

The Scottish Avalanche Information Service would recommend that those wishing to enjoy the winter mountains refer to Mountaineering Scotland and Scottish Government advice regarding Covid-19 and outdoor activities.

(Above) Creag Meagaidh’s Inner Coire and the slopes to ‘The Window’ looking fairly lean after an overnight thaw. Any ice build up noted from yesterday in the main coire Post Face now re-located to the Lochan a Choire!

(Above) The other ‘window’, on Cairn Liath side. Uinneag Min Coire or as it is more commonly referred to ‘The Min Window’ – equally lean

Was hopeful that all this ‘windolene’ might have improved the picture quality – unfortunately the clag was down for most of the day, clearing only for the above distant shots.
