22nd December 2021

Cold overnight with a frosted lansdcape througout the day – a bit of a change on the way. The light winds set to increase with some changeable temperatures over this next period.

(Above) The Creag Meagaidh range from the A86 am – low cloud remained for much of the day

(Above) Lochan a Choire, Coire Ardair just about visible!

(Above) Surface deposits included broken needles of surface hoar – not always a good thing when considering subsequent bonding of future layers; likely to disappear over with some milder conditions in this next period.
