Fresh snow overnight with the showers continuing for much of the day meant poor visibility at times above 700 metres.
(Above) Drumochter ‘East’ . Clear to start ,with drifted accumulations on track from around 400 metres giving reasonable access, although many hillsides ‘blown’ from recent strong winds.
(Above)Â Weakly bonded surface layers showing up today, with fresh windslab developing on mainly NE through E to SE aspects
(Above) Poor visibility for much of the morning, above 700 metres during snow showers
