(Above) The Big Picture: Puist Coire Ardair and Sron a Ghoire briefly brightly illuminated this morning. Bonus points for those who can spot the SAIS Forecaster on Sron a Ghoire! SAIS Tag-team forecasting today, one on Sron a Ghoire and the other in Coire Dubh checking out the cornices.
(Above) Coire Dubh. Another shot captured between the showers. Some cornices came down in the pre dawn meltdown.
(Above) Coire Dubh. The remaining moist cornices firmed up quickly with the onset of much colder weather. Defiantly not a sunny day though! Showers – heavier after midday – rattled in on strong winds and it was overcast for much of the day.
