Damp

10th March 2022

The day brightened a little, although precious little to endear  – damp the abiding memory. A couple of shots of cover in the Drumochter Hills from my jaunt today.

(Above) Gael -Charn, Drumochter West. A receding snowline. Snow showers fell overnight to all levels, then fast disappeared with rain / drizzle at all levels.

(Above) Drumochter East. How the land rover access track looked not so long ago!

(Above) Drumochter East – how it looked today!

From the top of the Drumochter Pass you would have seen a large fresh avalanche on the SE slopes of Beinn Udlamain, normally a popular ski descent.
