(Above) The Big Picture. Looking west towards a sunlit Sron a Ghoire with part of the Post Face of Coire Ardair also enjoying its moment in the sun. Crusty snow abounds! Hard supportive snow in many places but also a wee bit thinner and not so supportive in a few. Most recent accumulations are on West to North aspects.

(Above) The view ENE towards the sunlit uplands of the mighty northern Cairngorms! Looked like a fine day over there. Mountain ‘twitchers’ should be able to spot (in no particular order): Braeriach, Cairn Toul, The Angel’s Peak, Coire Garbhlach, the Einich Cairn, Sgor Gaoithe, Sgoran Dubh Mor, Carn Ban Mor, Mullach Clach a Bhlair, Fionnar Choire. Bonus point if you can pick out The Argyll Stone!

(Above) Beinn a Chaorainn this afternoon. The often popular East Ridge is on the far right of the photo.

Weather-wise, it’s copy-and-paste again for Tuesday!
